Health Care Life Coaching and Home Safety

coaching, life, health, care

Health Care Life Coaches sometimes are also educators in regards to household activities.  They not only aid in the diet of someone or the physical health but also organization of the home.  In understanding that, Life Coaches also educate on home safety.  One thing to consider is household chemicals, especially bleach.

The American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC) recorded lots of exposures to household cleaning items that were sufficient to need hospitalization and physician care. Most were due to just a lack of understanding to the inherent dangers of these things.  Most people merely consider all household items safe but did you realize that the Sanitation Department won’t dispose of full containers of cleaners because they’re classified as hazardous material?  With such things in mind it is important to be educated and aware. As a Life Coach, you should warn your clients of the dangers of unsafe exposure to bleach.  Bleach is actually a powerful corrosive material. Bleach can irritate the eyes and skin and if mixed with other chemicals can become a dangerous gas.  If digested, it can cause pulmonary edema, vomiting or a possible coma..How can you defend yourself and your family members? To begin with – educate oneself. Keep dangerous chemicals in safe places away from children.  Never change the container and always read the directions.

The dangers of bleach are considerable for your health and also the well being of one’s household. It is important to be aware of this and other chemicals.  By following the above recommendations and most importantly being aware of chemicals and their dangers, one can prevent future accidents. If Health Care Life Coaching interests you, you should review courses on it and how you can keep other people safe as well.
